In-N-Out Burger, the Irvine-based burger chain noted for its Double-Double and red-and-white decor, is in the planning stages of opening a new space along the famed Las Vegas Strip. While still in its nascent period, this location could be one of the largest In-N-Out restaurants, ever.
Set to open inside The BLVD, an upcoming 400,000-square-foot mixed-use development that will include dining, entertainment and retail, the newest Las Vegas Strip In-N-Out could measure approximately 10,520 square feet — the interior space checking in at 8,020 square feet with a patio area coming in at 2,500 square feet. A typical In-N-Out location with an interior dining room is about 3,900 square feet, according to the chain’s website. An In-N-Out that opened in July at The Outlets at Orange was approved by the city to be 3,885 square feet.
The BLVD’s Instagram page posted preparatory details about the upcoming In-N-Out; the Las Vegas Review-Journal was first to report this story.

While In-N-Out has yet to officially confirm the new location and its exceptional size, a representative did corroborate that the company is currently working to make it happen.
“We’re working on a site at The BLVD in Las Vegas; however, we’re currently in the plan check process, and there is still quite a bit of work to be done before we begin construction,” Mike Abbate, vice president of store development, said in a written statement. “In that regard, it would be premature to comment on a timeline or anything like an opening date.”
Abbate goes on to say that once construction commences on a new location, “it usually takes us about eight to nine months to build and open for business.”
If and when the new space opens, it would be the second In-N-Out on the Las Vegas Strip.

“We’re very thankful to be part of the Las Vegas community for the past 32 years, and we’re certainly excited about the prospect of having this wonderful location to better serve our Customers on the Las Vegas Strip,” said Abbate.
Gindi Capital and Cherng Family Trust, the multi-generational family office and investment firm of Andrew and Peggy Cherng (the founders of Panda Express and Panda Restaurant Group) are developers of The BLVD.
While most In-N-Out locations adhere to standard sizes, a handful of the chain’s pit stop break the norm by boasting extra-large spaces. Barstow, Glendale and West Covina have exceptionally roomy ones, according to citizen journalists on social media.
Once strictly synonymous with Southern California, the Baldwin Park-born fast food chain expanded its footprint this year with a corporate office in Franklin, Tenn., which broke ground in September, and eateries planned for Goodlettsville, Antioch, Lebanon and Mt. Julie.
