A man was fatally shot at a homeless encampment in Panorama City.
Los Angeles police officers were sent to Orion Avenue and Rayen Street at about 10:50 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11.
“When officers arrived, they found the victim in an encampment on an embankment of the 405 Freeway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds,” a LAPD statement said.
The man, in his 30s, died at a hospital.
“No arrests have been made and there is no suspect information at this time,” the police statement said.
Detectives asked anyone with information about the case to call them at 818-374-9550. Anonymous tipsters can contact Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS or at lacrimestoppers.org.
